ROLE: I wrote, produced, and co-directed this piece for Comedy Central for Earth Day 2021. Since I was filming in the pandemic and in another state than the rest of our usual team, I pre-produced this video in its entirety. My brother, Derek Laganelli, was my director of photography, sound engineer and co-director as well. Greg Washburn and Nik Kazoura directed the talking head segments via ZOOM, and Nik Kazoura edited the piece. From start to finish, this video was created and published in under a week and a half! Record time for a limited crew! I am beyond proud of this piece and loved that my family could be involved in its production.

ABOUT THE SERIES:
Every Damn Day is a talk show that brings together five comedians Monday through Thursday to make sense of pop culture, internet trends and whatever is happening in the comments section.

Every Damn Sketch Show
In the fall of 2018, the Creators were tasked with writing a sketch series that followed the "day in the life" of the Creators after Every Damn Day went off the air. These might seem highly exaggerated, but the vibes really weren't that far off from the real office culture of the Creators Program.
Pre-Production Responsibilities: Assist the Production Manager and Coordinator with gear rentals, assist the Head Writer with tracking script re-writes, aiding the set designer with gathering and crafting props
Production Responsibilities: Organizing catering for 25 person crew (3 Meals/Day for 5 Days), talent liaison to The Creators, assisting the Production Manager with script supervision
Creators Program Pilots
The Creators Program integrated with the Social Creative Team at CC Digital to create pilots and series featuring the Creators. These pilots and series were then released on Comedy Central's Originals YouTube page, CC Twitter Account, TikTok and Instagram.
I was a part of the team that launched the Comedy Central Digital Originals YouTube channel in 2019, and have worked on it's growth to over 1 Million subscribers. Listed below are the original series that I worked on.
CRY BATTLE

In Cry Battle, whoever cries the most in a series of tear-jerking challenges, wins. Crybaby/Host Jordan Mendoza and a celebrity challenger force themselves to sob for points -- and your entertainment -- in a game show that turns weepers into winners.

ROLE ON THE SERIES: I oversaw production on this series from start to finish. As Associate Producer, I worked alongside the creator, Jordan Menza, the Director Jim Fagan, Director of Photography, Nick Candreava and fellow AP/Assistant Bridget Davis to:
- Build the look of the show by sourcing set dressing and props
- Compile research decks for all incoming talent and help to produce each segment by pulling clips, sourcing materials and formulating interview questions

I have been working on this series since its pilot episode as the production coordinator and prop wrangler. My Production Assistant, Bridget Davis, and I have created many large-scale props for the series as well as assist in all areas of production, seeing as the crew was under six people.

Social Creative Team
The Creators Program integrated with the Social Creative Team at CC Digital to create pilots and series featuring the Creators. These pilots and series were then released on Comedy Central's Originals YouTube page, CC Twitter, TikTok and Instagram.
I worked with Jim Fagan (Director & Creator) and Nick Candreva (DP) to bring these two series to life.
These series are storytelling buckets that allowed us to bring in comedians to tell some of their most embarrassing stories for Life Fails: High School Fails, I Sh*t You Not, I Should Have Died and of course, Sex Fails.
I have worked on these shows from pilot to present and even aided in producing remote shoots during the Pandemic. While working on over eighty videos for these series, I would reach act as the talent liaison to schedule shoots, manage payout, aid in set design, and script supervise.
